Owners Walt and Sandy Ramsey have worked hard to develop a softer touch to the industry for the customer. The customer is always in the drivers seat but they take the stress out of the driving for them.

Sandy started as a dispatcher in the towable division of a large transportation company in northern Indiana. There she learned all facets of the business including what it took to get the job done efficiently and in a safe manner. She instilled in her drivers the same viewpoints on customer service and satisfaction that she had. Her husband Walter started before her with the same company doing the physical aspects of the job. Together they learned what it took to satisfy the customer and vowed that they would always strive to do the very best job they could and make it as easy as they could for their customers. Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed!

Upon leaving that company Sandy went to work for a large logistics firm working in their brokerage department. She gained many contacts in the industry and built lasting relationships. She increased her knowledge in tractor trailer moves and specialty trailers. This allowed her to broaden her customer base to not only units that could be towed but to units that had to be hauled. Sandy was like a sponge soaking up every bit of information she could that would make her a more rounded individual in the industry thus being able to service more customer needs.

Sandy and Walter soon realized that having there own company would give them the freedom to work with each customer on a one-on-one basis and allow them to give better rates without having to supply to a middle man. They applied for their authority and got everything in order, thus we have Sanram Transport!
